State of the Youth Address

Primary Objective: Position the National Youth of the Year as an advocate for America’s youth. 

As political leaders and decision makers chart the course of our country for the future, America’s youth feel their top priorities are being overlooked. A recent survey found that 65% of American teens said the top three issues facing their peers are access to jobs/training/college after high school; youth violence; and alcohol/drug/sex activities.

Call to action: Sign our petition to demand that our nation’s leaders address the most pressing concerns facing our youth. They are, after all, the leaders of tomorrow.  If we don’t prepare them for that role, our country will suffer.
